Angela Dawn Hitchcock Franklin, 41, of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Reid Hospital in Richmond.  She was born on September 15, 1977, in New Castle, IN to John and Diann (Witham) Hitchcock. 

Angela was a 1996 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School.  She was a hairdresser and devoted mother.  Angela loved spending time with family, gardening with son Devin and watching son Alex wrestle and other sports.  She also loved watching football during family time and was an avid Steelers fan.  She supported Chris as he coached football for the Winchester Golden Falcons for 17 years. 

Angela is survived by her fiancé and the love of her life, Chris Franklin; her mother, Diann Hitchcock; her mother-in-law, Annabelle Franklin; her daughter, Amanda Franklin (Luke) Bonvillian of Portland; her two sons, Alex Franklin and Devin Franklin; her granddaughter, Harlin Bonvillian; her sister, Jennifer (fiancé Eric Frye) Hitchcock of Connersville; nieces, Ashlie (Damon) Shelby, Sera (Joe) Friend, and Elizabeth Bowling all of Connersville; nephew, Luke Frye of Connersville; and a great niece Ceriah Shelby of Connersville.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Hitchcock; a great nephew, Greyson Shelby; and her maternal and paternal grandparents. 

A celebration of Angela’s life will be at 5 p.m., on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester. 

Friends and family may call from 2-5 p.m., on Saturday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cancer Services of Randolph County, 133 N. Meridian St., Winchester, IN 47394
