Philip Wysong, 86, passed away on April 12, 2024 at Aden Health Care of Greenville, Ohio. He was born on April 27, 1937, in Winchester, to John and Martah Wysong. Phil was a graduate of McKinley High School in 1956. He worked at Stone Station Elevator and Retired from the Randolph County Highway Department.
Phil is survived by his wife Marsha; brother, John Wysong of California; son Randy Wysong; two daughters, Carmen Yoakum and Jayne (Mike) Brinson; stepson Chad (Amy) Koons; granddaughter, Danielle (Joe) Ankrom; grandson Jason Yoakum; and great grandchildren, Jensen and Riley Ankrom.
Phil was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy; and sister, Francis Harris.
A service to celebrate Phil’s life will be at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Pastor Jeorgene Gaddy officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
Friends and family may call from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17 as well as an hour before services on April 18 all at the funeral home.
