Howard E Hawley

Howard E. Hawley passed away April 6, 2024 at the age of 89, at home, with his faithful furry friend, Frank.  Howard was born on Aug 11, 1935 to Ernest and Florence (Mallot) Hawley.

Howard had an adventures soul and a love for life.  He was a mould maker in his days at Anchor Hocking.  He loved taking trips on his motorcycle and loved having the breeze in his hair.

Howard is survived by his sons, Rick (Tracy) Hawley, Robert (Lisa) Morford, Chris (Marcy) Phenis, and his daughters, Jamie (Travis) Coats and Brandy (Josh) Rice; his brother, John (Fran) Hawley; and his sister-in-law, Sonda Hawley, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, and his wife, Linda (Hall) Hawley.

A celebration of Howard’s life will be held on May 12, 2024, at Beeson Clubhouse in Winchester, from noon until 6:00 p.m.  We invite everyone to come out and celebrate Howard’s zest for life. 

The family would like to give special thanks to the Hospice nurses and also the 2 caregivers, who took such great care of Howard, Deana Hawley and Rusty Kerrigan.
