Elsie Marceil Deboy, loving wife, mother, GMa and GGMa passed away peacefully surrounded by family May 5, 2021 after a 5 month battle with ovarian cancer.  Elsie was born on September 29th 1937 to Naomi (Sorbray) and Ralph Elza Sibery in Muncie, Indiana.

In 1955 Elsie graduated from Bryant High School, Bryant, Indiana.  On June 8th 1958 Elsie married Richard Deboy of Union City, Indiana.  This almost 63 year union grew into the following loving family who will forever hold Elsie in their hearts. 

Elsie is survived by husband Richard.

Sons Chris Deboy wife Marcia, of Muncie, IN. and Randy Deboy fiancée Krisa of Winchester, IN., daughters Susan Hunt husband Don, of Hamilton, OH and Kathy Nunley of Geneva, IN.

Grandchildren Jerad Hoyt, Katie Franklin husband Anthony, Alyssa Whitaker husband Josh, Krista Mc Cord husband Dustin, Kyle Deboy wife Olivia, Alec Wenger, Ryan Deboy, Travis Nunley and Renee Deboy.

Great Grandchildren Andi Whitaker, Parker Mc Cord, Olivia Mc Cord, Addison Franklin, Jackson Mc Cord, Elias Mc Cord, Jolene Whitacker, Charlotte Franklin, and Bowen David Deboy.

Siblings Robert Sibery, Union City, IN and Jim Sibery, Indianapolis, IN.

Elsie was preceded in death by her mother and father, sisters Mary Lou Butcher and Jane Bailey, brother Dean Sibery and granddaughter Ashley Rose Deboy.

Elsie was active in the Noble Busy Bee Home Ec. Club and Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop – St. Vincent Randolph County.

A service to celebrate Elsie’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home with Brian Edwards officiating.  Burial will be at Reitenour Cemetery at a later date.

Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m., on Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Elsie’s name to Diabetes Foundation or the Cancer Services of Randolph County, 133 N. Meridian St., Winchester, IN 47394
