Delores Tucker, 87, passed peacefully at home in her sleep on Monday, September 2, 2019. She was born June 16, 1932 in Alton IL, to Carl and Cecelia (Schmittling) Norris.

Delores retired from Anchor Glass Corporation on September 1, 1992 after 32 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, word puzzles, yard sales and traveling.

Delores is survived by her children, Brenda (David) Lowman of Magnolia, TX, Sandra Simmons Whyde of Florence, AL, and Karen (Kenny) Westendorf of Kettering, OH; and Richard (Linda) Tucker of Winchester, IN; 9 grandchildren, Tara Woolf, Shelley Simmons, James Matthew Simmons, Jamie Simmons Fogle, Stephanie Westendorf, Kimberly Westendorf Hayes, Brandy Bates Evans, Christy Bates Jenson, and Peaches Tucker Russell; 18 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Tucker; her brother, Charles Norris; her sister, Alice Grabowski; her daughter; Cecilia Marie Tucker and her granddaughter, Tiffaney Lee Tucker.

A service to celebrate Delores' life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2019, at the Fountain Park Cemetery Chapel, with Father Peter Logsdon officiating.

Memorials may be name in Delores' name to Alzheimer’s Association 50 E. 91st St STE 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
