Tanner Lee Folkner, 20, of Winchester passed away from injuries sustained in an auto accident on May 1, 2017. He was born on December 23, 1996 in Muncie, Indiana to Thomas and Tammy (Puckett) Folkner of Winchester.

Tanner was a 2015 graduate of Winchester Community High School. He worked at Taco Bell in Winchester and enjoyed playing football and hanging out with his friends.

He is survived by his parents, one daughter Logan Marie Folkner of Winchester; three brothers Tyler Folkner of Winchester; Michael Clever of Indianapolis and Steven Pickett of Indianapolis; three sisters Delonna Puckett of Kentucky; Jessie Andresen of Yorktown and Mandy Easterly of Anderson; Paternal grandmother Jackie Lee of Tennessee; Maternal grandmother Carolyn Webb of Muncie; maternal grandfather Lester Puckett of Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Tanner’s life will be held on Saturday May 6, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, Indiana.

My heart goes out to all of Tanner's family and friends. There are no words to lighten the pain in your hearts but my prayers go out to all of you and I ask God to hold you in his arms and help you through all of this. Tanner was one very loved person and take solace in that love.

Tanner, you will always be in me heart, you gave me so much joy in our Bible school classes. Your wiliness to learn about our Lord Jesus, and all that joy was on your face. I never got to say good buy to you but I know we're you are and we will see you so day. My heart is in pain as your mother and father are. I will miss you and that sweet smile and hugs. grandma and pa.
