William E. Caylor, 65, of Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at his home surrounded by an abundance of love. He was born on February 15, 1956, in Winchester, to Donald and Nova (Jarrett) Caylor.
William retired from Ardaugh in Winchester after 47 years. He was a member of the Circle X, the Ridgeville American Legion, and the Anchor Hocking Credit Union. William enjoyed making hay, his horses, and cattle. He also enjoyed spending time at the 4-H Fairgrounds. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
William is survived by his wife, Joyce (Neeley) Caylor of Ridgeville; his four children, Patty (Todd) Pegg, Chad (Bridget) Ashley, Steven (Kimberly) Caylor, and Billie Caylor; a brother, Don “Hev” (Becky) Caylor; a sister, Esther (George) Hollowell; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
William was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Barb Caylor; a brother, Harry Caylor; a sister, Jackie Bost; a grandson, Jeremy Foudray; and a sister-in-law, Martha Caylor.
A service to celebrate William’s life will be at 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Pastor Jonathan Edwards officiating.
Friends and family may call from 1-4 p.m., on Wednesday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in William’s name can be made to the Cancer Services of Randolph County, 133 N. Meridian St., Winchester, IN 47394, or to the Randolph County 4-H Capital Campaign, 1885 S US 27, Winchester, IN 47394, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
