Tracy Brian Lanter, 61 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. He was born on June 9, 1963 in New Castle to Ernest and Nancy (Alyea) Lanter.
Tracy was a 1982 graduate of Union High School. He worked at OMCO Cast Metals. Tracy was a bright light in this world with so much love to give. His favorite hobbies were watching his grandkids and kids sports events; he was always their biggest fan. He loved spending quality time with his family and friends. Tracy didn’t know a stranger; he loved everybody and was loved by everybody!
Tracy is survived by his wife, Jody Lanter; son, Stephen (wife Deanna) Lanter; daughter, Keri (husband, Pat) Wilkison; mother, Nancy Lanter; sister, Tina (husband, Don) Selby; brother, Doug (wife, Diane) Lanter; grandkids, Ryder, Ellie, and Aribella, and several others that called him pappy; and several nieces and nephews.
Tracy was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Lanter; granddaughter, Hadlie Lanter; and several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life will be starting at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Willows Edge, 627 W 100 S, Winchester, IN 47394.
