Taylan Todd Phillips

Taylan Todd Phillips, 23 of Winchester, went to be with the Lord, and his grandpa and grandma, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.  He was born on May 4, 1999, in Winchester, to Noah Phillips and Melissa England.

Taylan went to Winchester Community High School.   He loved to fish, golf and wrestled for Winchester High School.  He enjoyed go cart racing and was an exquisite creator of foods like pork loin, and he loved to eat potato soup.  He lived in Florida for a short time.  Taylan was family oriented and loved to spend time with his family.  Most of all, his son, Maylan was his world.

Taylan is survived by his mother, Melissa (Eric) England; his father, Noah (Tara) Phillips; his son, Maylan T. Phillips; his brothers and sisters, Tiara, Austin, Dakota, Mason, Ava, Shelby, Charlie, and Adeline; his maternal grandmother, Melody Ackman, grandparents, Lynn and Wayne Madden.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arthur Ackman and his paternal grandparents, Steve Lankford and Linda Hickle.

A service to celebrate Taylan’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester.  Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.

Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m., on Monday, at the funeral home.
