Susan Marie (Monnier) Roberts

Susan Marie Roberts, 86, of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Parker Health and Rehabilitation Center, in Parker City, Indiana.  She was born on July 28, 1938, in Darke County, Ohio, to Fred H. and Winifred C. (Smith) Monnier.

Susie was a 1956 graduate of Bradford High School.  She was a member of Delta Theta Tau, the Moose Lodge, and the First Assembly of God.  She enjoyed going to Florida in the winter, as well as bowling, softball, camping and spending time with her family.

Susie is survived by her five children, David (Nikki) Hill, Debra (Jeff) Uhrick, Dale (Teena) Hill, Tina Sommer, and Ed (Cindy) Roberts; 10 grandchildren, Cherie (Eric) Smith, Stefanie (Matt) Cumming, Ryan (Jessica) Handy, Andy (Alicia) Hill, Josh Hill, Brandon (Ciara) Hill, Megan Simmons, Alexis Sommer, Nathan (Zoey) Goodman, and Mariah (Garren) Gibson; 22 great grandchildren.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Harold Roberts in 2017; great grandson, Roman Goodman; her three brothers and two sisters.

A service to celebrate Susie’s life will be at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Holt officiating. 

Friends and family may call from 4-7 p.m., on Monday, at the funeral home.
