It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan R. Bell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Susan peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. She was 71.

Born on November 14, 1954, in Winchester, Indiana. Susan was the daughter of Raymond and Maribelle Landess. She graduated from Winchester High School in 1973.

Susan worked for over 40 years at Anchor Glass.  Susan was a devoted member of the Winchester Moose Lodge, where she made countless friendships. At home, Susan found joy in her flower garden and also enjoyed an occasional fishing trip.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Bud Bell, her four children: Ryan Harper (Lisa), Bryan Harper (Sara), Christa Porter (Todd), and Brad Bell (Shelia), who will forever carry her love in their hearts. Susan was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren (Paige, Kayla, Carmen, Sydnee, William, Regan, Chase, Kaylee.) She is also survived by her brother, Rick Landess, and her sister, Sandy Daniels.

Susan chose cremation and her family will hold a memorial service to celebrate her life at a later date.
