Steve Allen Koons

Steve Allen Koons, 65, passed away August 24, 2021. He was born October 15, 1955, in Muncie, to George and Pauline (Paris) Koons. On July 3, 1989 he married Maria Kim Symmes. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. Surviving are his wife and step-son, Russell Shaw Symmes III.  Steve was a project manager and IT specialist for Wise Incorporated for 20 years. He attended Buena Vista Community Church in Farmland.

Steve will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, dedicated spirit, and his passion for golf, skiing, and music (the band Rush, in particular).

A private celebration of life with family and close friends will take place at a later date.
