Shirley R (Holden) McCord

Shirley R. McCord, 82, of Saratoga, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Parker Health Care in Parker City.  She was born on June 23, 1939, in Union City, Ohio, to Lawrence and Lola (Thomas) Holden. 

Shirley was a homemaker.  She loved her family and the light of her life were her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Stanley McCord of Saratoga; daughter, Sharon (John) Laux of Farmland; son, Rick (Betty) McCord, of Union City, IN; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and son-in-law Lonnie Pierce.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; and by her daughter, Kelly J. Pierce.

Graveside services will be at 12:15 p.m., on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Bear Creek Cemetery.
