Rosalyn S. Landess, 72, of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday morning, June, 25, 2025, at Reid Health in Richmond.
Rosalyn was born on May 14, 1953, in Portland, Indiana to the late Leland and Charlene Whitenack. She was a 1971 graduate of Winchester High School. Rosalyn drove a school bus for Winchester Community Schools for many years and had also worked for Tyson, 3D, and the Meat Market. She attended Winchester Friends Church and was involved in 4H in her younger years. Rosalyn enjoyed painting, gardening, camping, and cooking.
Rosalyn is survived by four children, Amy Landess, Loriann Clouse (husband Nigel), Terresa Landess (husband Justin Hickman), and Rod Landess; four grandchildren, Chanda Suttles, Drake Suttles, Hendrix Clouse, and Mira Landess; three great-grandchildren, Kenna, Corbin, and Wynter Suttles; four siblings, Les Whitenack (wife Linda), Jeff Whitenack (wife Melonie), Connie Snyder (husband Bruce), and Doug Whitenack (wife Barbara); and several nieces and nephews.
Rosalyn was preceded in death by her grandson, Haley Suttles.
A funeral service to celebrate Rosalyn’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, June 30, 2025, at Walker Funeral Home, 248 E. South St. in Winchester. Burial will follow in Lawndale Cemetery in Ridgeville.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday at Walker Funeral Home.
