Robert (Bob) O Lee

Robert (Bob) O. Lee, 77, of Albany, Indiana joined his parents and his siblings Cathy and Leslie in the arms of the Lord on July 28, 2022 after a short illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Margaret Delores Lee, 78, and his daughter, Daverlee, son, Daniel and wife, Rachel and nephews Mark and Doug, brother-in-law, Leon Riddle (companion Sandy Carroll), sister-in-law, Sue Stacy, and very special friends, Craig and Sorita Booth, as well as too many cherished friends and relatives to count.

Bob never turned down the chance to help anyone who asked and worked hard all his life. After surviving polio as a child, he was drafted into the Army as a young man and, later, went on to work for Borg Warner until his retirement.

He will be remembered as a wonderful friend, great father, and steadfast companion with a ready smile always willing to lend a hand.

Although Bob spent his final years in Texas, enjoying the sun with Delores, he returns to the place of his birth, Indiana, for his final rest.

A service to celebrate Bob’s life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Pastor Steve Conner officiating.  Burial will follow at the Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.

Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home.
