Robert Lincoln Wooters passed away at home on November 23, 2024. He was 94 years young. After serving in the US Army, he was a retired mouldmaker at OMCO, Winchester and a member of the Ridgeville Legion Post 507. Robert enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a very good bowler and was in many bowling leagues.
Robert was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Janice Marlene (Houston) Wooters and 2nd wife, Charlotte May (Forest) Wooters; his oldest daughter, Doris Marlene (Wooters) Canter; grandson, Robert Canter; granddaughter, Stacy Whyde; 5 sisters and 1 brother. Surviving children, Karen Lynn (Wooters) Cox, Ricky Lee Wooters, Roberta May (Wooters) Whyde; many grandkids, great grandkids, and many great great grandkids.
There will be a graveside service at Lawndale Cemetery, at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Family and friends are invited. There will be a celebration of life at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Ridgeville at 1:30 p.m., following the graveside services.
Condolences and flowers can be sent to the fellowship hall at the United Methodist Church, Ridgeville.
