Robert G. Blansett

Robert G. Blansett, 92, passed away at his home on April 20, 2022.  He was born on November 29, 1929, to Levi Franklin Blansett and Illah Paine Blansett.

Robert attended Winchester High School until the 10th grade, when he went to work at Anchor Hocking for 43 years.  He also worked for Pinkerton Security for 9 years and Walmart for 10 years.  Robert enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He enjoyed drinking coffee with friends and McDonalds.  He loved spending time with family and friends.  He will be sadly missed by those who knew him.

Robert is survived by his wife Lisa of 17 years; two step sons; daughter, Deb Swartz (husband Don); son Bob Blansett (wife Vickie); and brother, Lowell Blansett (wife Marilyn).  Robert is survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service to celebrate Robert’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester with Pastor Jeff Straley officiating.
