Rebecca M Younger

Rebecca M. Younger, 43, of Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at her home.  She was born on November 29, 1980, in Winchester, to Roscoe A. Phenis, Jr., and Wytinia (Richards) Rowland. 

Rebecca was a homemaker.  She enjoyed fishing, working on cars, playing card games with her family, and hanging out with her friends.

Rebecca will be missed by her father, Roscoe A. Phenis, Jr.; her son, Matthew Peters; her brothers and sisters, Tony Richards, Donna Durham, Ross Phenis, and Roscoe Phenis III; niece and nephews, Issac Durham, Angelina Holt, and Damion Holt; her paternal grandfather, Roscoe Phenis, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Janet Bray; her partner and mate, James Younger; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her mother.

A memorial service to celebrate Rebecca’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the United Pentecostal Church in Winchester.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Saturday at the church.
