Peggy A (Modesitt) White

Peggy A. (Modesitt) White, 68, of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Reid Health in Richmond.  She was born on July 7, 1953, in Muncie, IN, to Vern Modesitt and Alice (Gage) Tiller.

Peggy attended Farmland High School.  She retired from Anchor in Winchester after 40 years.  Peggy enjoyed gardening and was the world’s best at making biscuits and gravy.  She was a very good cook.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Chrisie (Jacob) Crowley; son, Danny Tenbrink of Texas; a brother, Michael Modesitt; sister, Vickie Modesitt-Hart; and two grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; and sister Debbie.

A service to celebrate Peggy’s life will be at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Walker Funeral Home, with Pastor Debi Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Muncie, IN.

Friends and family may call from 2-6 p.m., on Wednesday, May 18, at the funeral home.  Memorials in Peggy’s name can be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA  22116-7023.
