Paul Sullivan

Paul Sullivan, 84, of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Reid Health in Richmond.  He was born on September 17, 1936, in Winchester, to Ardell and Marjorie (Popplewell) Sullivan.

Paul graduated from Spartanburg High School in 1954.  In 1964, he married Ruby (Partin, Miley) Sullivan.  Paul was a longtime resident of Winchester.  He retired from Silgan Container Corp in Richmond.

Paul is survived by three step children, Diane (Miley) Bosworth and husband Tony of Winchester, David Miley and wife Debbie of Winchester, and Rebeca Miley of Eaton, IN, and their families as well as nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby; step daughter, Patricia (Miley) Helsley; grandsons, Jason Miley and David Unger; his parents, Margie and Ardell Sullivan; brothers, Ralph, Clisba, Harold, Cameron, and Robert Sullivan; and a sister, Blanche Wills.

A special thank you to great niece Cassy, her father (nephew) Cameron Sullivan and (nephew) Danny Sullivan for all their help and support.

There will be a memorial gathering at a later date.  Paul’s remains will be placed in Jericho Cemetery.
