Patty L. Horn, 96, of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 in Winchester. She was born on March 17, 1926, in Winchester, to John and Lora (Sarber) Bauer.
Patty was a 1944 graduate of Winchester High School and attended Ball State University. In her younger years she worked at the Randolph County Credit Bureau and worked at Ohio Valley Gas, retiring in 1990. Patty was a member of the Main Street Christian Church now Countryside Christian Church, Tri Kappa, and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed playing cards and crafts.
Patty is survived by her four children, Marsha Seidner of Olive Branch Mississippi, Susan Engle of Muncie, Indiana, Judi (Tom) Bigelow of Winchester and Jerry (Andria) Horn of Winchester; grandchildren, Trisha (Marty) White, Ryan (Jessica) Seidner, Nerrissa (Matt) Hines, Jacob Horn, Nicholas (Signe) Engle, Donny Bigelow, Alan (Vickie) Bigelow, and Becky (Chris) Miles; great grandchildren, Matthew White, Kai, Kiersten, Kiera, and Everett Engle, Isabelle Horn, Merriam and Nolan Hines, Rachel Fillebrown, Stephanie and Thomas Bigelow, and Trisha Long; and great great grandchildren, Mercedes, Lillye, Maximus, and Landon Fillebrown and Colby Long.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Robert Horn who passed away in 1985.
A service to celebrate Patty’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Countryside Christian Church in Winchester, with Pastor Melissa Kleinschmidt officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m. on Monday at the church. Memorials may be made in Patty’s memory to Countryside Christian Church, 1212 E 100 S, Winchester, IN 47394.
