Pamela Jo (Wicker) Cox

Pamela J. Cox, age 73 of Winchester, IN died Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Reid Health. She was born on September 3, 1949 in Richmond, IN to Herbert Wicker and Agnes (Wicker) Florence.

Pam graduated Jefferson High School in 1967 in New Paris, OH and then graduated from Ivy Tech in 1984. She and Larry Cox were married April 1,1969. She retired from the medical records department at St. Vincent Randolph. She loved cooking, crocheting, traveling, bingo, gardening, her grandkids, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Christy Cox, Craig (April) Cox, and Angie (Brian) Dale; grandchildren, Blakely Slusher, Bailey Cox, and Brennon Cox; siblings, Vicky, Sandy, Bob, Robin, Diane, and Lori; Sister in law, Debbie (Don) Bennett-Powers; Cindy Powers; brother in law, Jerry (Kathy) Powers; Mike Wilhelm; numerous nieces; nephews; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Cox; infant son, Larry C Cox ll; sister, Jackie and brother in law, Gary; many other loved ones.

A service to celebrate Pam’s life will be at 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Chaplain Rich Alvey officiating.  Friends and family may call from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, at the funeral home.  A dinner will follow at Phi Delta Kappa, 825 N Residence St, Winchester, IN 47394.

 The family wishes to give special thanks and gratitude to her hospice team Dr. DeSantis, Brittany, Alyssa, Tracey, Brandi & Julie. You all made her very happy and she loved each of you.
