Nellie (Lamb) Comer

Nellie Caroline (Lamb) Comer, age 95, passed away December 20, 2025 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Greenville, OH. Prior to moving to Greenville, she and her husband Dick were lifelong farmers in the Spartanburg, IN area.

She was born October 17, 1930 to Wilbur and Thelma (Manning) Lamb in Randolph County, IN. Nellie and Dick were married September 6, 1948.

She is survived by her two sons, James Russell (Teresa) Comer and Richard Duane (Lori) Comer, Union City, IN; grandchildren Hollie Comer, Kris Comer, Marcy (Mike) MacQueen and Joshua Comer; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Ada (Jerry) Slick, sister-in-law Sue Wright and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard (Dick), son Basil Comer, and siblings John Lamb, Betty Herron, and Esther Brown.

Internment in the Spartanburg Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
