Meshelle (Norman) Sterling

Meshelle R. (Norman) Sterling, 63, of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.  She was born on February 21, 1960, in Winchester, to Harry and Leona (Abernathy) Norman.

Meshelle was a homemaker.  She loved her Soap Shows, including Guiding Light, Romance Novels, loved cats, and watching I love Lucy and Elvis.

Meshelle is survived by her children, Heather (Jamie) Sterling and Matthew (Amber) Sterling; 10 grandchildren, Dylan, Eli, Peyton, Lucas Cassie, Makynna, Drevyn, Kara, Rachael and Justin; a sister, Catherine Thomason; and a brother, Jeffrey Norman.

Meshelle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 34 years, Billy Joe Sterling; brothers, Thomas Norman, Matthew Norman, and Dennis Norman; and sister, Nancy Wagner. 

A service to celebrate Meshelle’s life will be at 4 p.m., on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester.  Burial will be at Buena Vista Cemetery.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 p.m., on Tuesday at the funeral home.
