Mary Grace (Amerine) Rheinscheld

Mary Grace (Amerine) Rheinscheld, 93 of Economy, Indiana died Monday September 9, 2024 at her home in Economy where she was cared for by her family. She died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

Grace was born November 5, 1930 in Vinton County Ohio to the late Carl H. and A. Leota (Woodgeard) Amerine. She married her late husband Howard Rheinscheld on June 8, 1950. She retired from Anchor Hocking Glass in Winchester where she worked as a glassware inspector.

Survivors include his daughter Karla (husband David) Hobson of Economy, IN. Her eldest grandson Carl Hobson of Economy, IN, her granddaughter Bethany Hobson of Economy, IN, and her youngest grandson Howard Hobson of Economy, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard D. Rheinscheld, her infant daughter Deidre Jean Rheinscheld, and her three siblings Edith Amerine, Opal Paxton, and Raymond Amerine.

Visitation will be from 12 pm - 1 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at Walker Funeral Home, Winchester, IN. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Paul Gearhardt, New Testament Church of Christ - Hagerstown, officiating. Burial is at Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester
