Marjorie L. Green, 73 of Muncie, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord on May 18, 2022. Marjorie was born in Muncie, Indiana on May 29, 1948. Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband Ralph R. Green and her parents William H. and Evelyn J. Evilsizer.  She is survived by her two children Ann Marie (Scott) Pierce (Granbury, Texas), and Adam David (Jennifer) Stephenson (Pendleton, IN), two granddaughters Elizabeth Ann Marie Stephenson and Emily Janette Stephenson, stepchildren Julie Rhonemus, Jennifer, Carpenter, and Tony Green, siblings Jonelle Daluisio (Whiteland, IN), William (Carol) Evilsizer (Madison, IN), Patricia (Mark) Bowers (St. Mary’s, OH), several nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

She grew up in Ridgeville Indiana, and graduated Ridgeville High School.  Marjorie was an accomplished musician, educator, and school administrator. Marjorie started performing in a small Methodist Church in Ridgeville as a teenager, playing piano alongside her mother on the organ. She served as choir director for Congregational Christian Church in Winchester. In the 1980’s she formed and led two gospel groups who performed throughout central Indiana. Marjorie also owned a successful business, Music Resource Center, that provided printed music and services to local church choir directors. Marjorie’s educational career spanned several decades in east central Indiana school districts as she directed several music programs, taught history, and concluded her career as a High School Principal.  She obtained her Bachelors, Masters, and her Education Specialist (Ed. S) degrees at Ball State University and Indiana University.

In her retirement, Marjorie loved to plant flowers, host her family for holiday gatherings, and thoroughly enjoyed watching her 2 granddaughters perform in ballet and choreographed majorette shows. She loved to sew and often made dresses for her granddaughters. She was an avid reader and loved history.
