Marjorie Mae (Winn) Almonrode, 91, died suddenly on October 8, 2024, in Saratoga, Indiana. She was born on August 24, 1933, in Greenville Ohio; she lived most of her younger life in the Greenville area.
On May 21, 1966, Marjorie got married to Joe Almonrode, Jr. She retired from Ward and Deerfield Schools as a cook, which she loved doing.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Edith and Harold Feirstein; her sister Mildred Labig; and nephews, John and Jim Labig.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Connie Campbell and Kathy Millares (Doug); her sons, Barry Almonrode and Bob Almonrode (Dawn); 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Marjorie’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Walker Funeral Home with John Retter officiating. Burial will follow at Saratoga Cemetery in Saratoga, Indiana.
