Lyra Nicole Lahey

Lyra Nicole Lahey was born sleeping on February 19th, 2024 at 5:32 a.m. at St. Vincent Hospital.

Lyra is survived by her parents Jacob and Shalyn Lahey. Her grandparents Jeff and Lisa Lahey, Shawn and Tasha Scalf. Her Great Grandparents Paul and Lila Lahey, Debbie Leach, Tony Funk, James and Elizabeth Scalf, Donna Pope. Her 14 Aunts and Uncles. Her 7 Cousins. Her 8 Great Aunts and Uncles.

Lyra is preceded in death by her Great Grandparents Kenny Leach and Wendell Pope. Great Uncle Steven Scalf.

God took me in His loving arms and kissed my little cheek. He said, “Now close your eyes, sweet child, and try hard not to peek. We’re off to Baby Heaven. A paradise above, where perfect baby angels watch over those they love.” I know how much you miss me. I’m reminded with each tear. I only wish that you could see the joy and beauty here. The time will come, dear family, when I’ll be with you again, but I’m here in Baby Heaven watching over you ‘till then.

There will be a private graveside service for Lyra at a later date.
