Kristina Jeanette Ashley

Kristina Jeanette Ashley, 54, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. She was born on May 19, 1971, in Winchester, Indiana, and had made Bassett her home in recent years.

Kristi will be lovingly remembered for her kind spirit, strength, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Cheryl Cochran; her father, John Ashley (Valerie); her life partner, James Singer; her sister, Kate Ashley (Matt Guyer); stepbrothers, Kevin Cochran, Dan Cochran, and Chad Mills; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In keeping with Kristi’s wishes, services will be held privately with family.

Her memory will live on in the love of her family and friends.
