Kimberly Pegg Obituary

Kimberly Pegg, beloved daughter of Doug and Kay Pigg, was born on November 2, 1963, in Winchester, Indiana. She peacefully passed away on June 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Kim leaves behind the love of her life, Jon Morgan, her daughter, Morgan (Zack) Boyd, Step Children Mark (Kelli) Morgan, Missy (Zoe) Morgan-Clarke; and their beloved grandchildren, Gunner and Leyton Boyd, Crew Morgan, and Willow and Luna Morgan-Clarke.

She also had a brother Russ (Kim) Pigg, and 3 sisters Ronda (Rick) Byrge, Angie (Gary) Holt, and Jami Rollings. She leaves many nieces and nephews whom she also loved as her own.

Kim attended Winchester Community High School where she was known for being an outstanding athlete, and went on to further her education at Ball State University. Throughout her career, she worked at Indiana Michigan Power, Silvertowne, Culy’s Construction, Driver Middle School as the Girls basketball coach, and as a paraprofessional at Baker Elementary School, she has always loved helping children.

Kim had a love for fishing; she would spend time in the summer going to their cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. One of her greatest passions was coaching basketball which she did for many years and touched the lives of a lot of girls who played under her. She was known for her dedication to watching all of the sporting events at WCHS and supporting the teams, no matter the sport. Her favorite thing in this world was spending time with her grandchildren, especially traveling to all of their sporting and 4h events.

Kim's fighting and passionate spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She fought a courageous battle until the very end. Visitation will be held Monday June 24th, 2024 from 4-7pm with the funeral immediately following at 7:00 pm.
