Kim K. Keys, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly at the Waters of Middletown on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Kim was born on November 4, 1954, in Winchester, Indiana, and was the son of the late Raymond (Earl) Keys and Janice (McGill) Keys of Phoenix, Arizona, who survives.
In addition to his mother, Kim leaves behind his son, Nicholas Keys of Winchester, Indiana, his daughter, Paula (Rick) Polei of Winchester, Indiana, and his grandsons, Dylan and Layne Polei, of Winchester, Indiana. Kim is also survived by two sisters, Aime (Matt) Grant of Byron, Georgia, and Cobina (Willie) Wong of Mesa, Arizona, as well as his niece, Renee (Melina Mazon) Keys of Phoenix, Arizona, and nephews, Jeremy Wong of Mesa, Arizona, and Kevin Wong of Michigan.
Kim graduated from Westwood High School in Mesa, Arizona, in May of 1973, and then moved back to Winchester, Indiana, in his early 20’s. He was a machine operator at various companies in Central Indiana. He was a John Wayne fan and loved traveling with the “Star Trek” crew. Kim loved baseball, farming, fishing, and just about anything outdoors. In his earlier years, he enjoyed purchasing older farm equipment and fixing it up. He was his happiest driving a tractor.
The family will have a private Memorial Service at a later time.
