Kim Michelle (Fisher) Brandon, 69, of Winchester, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was born May 4, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Gary and Jean (Anderson) Fisher. Graduating from Winchester Community High School in 1973, Kim attended Ball State University and studied fine art, then went on to become a gemologist with the Gemological Institute of America. She worked as a jeweler for many years with Webb Jewellers, SilverTowne, and her small business, The Gold Mine.
Kim went on to run the family business, Our Pizza House, founded by her grandmother, Dortha (Frick) Fisher in 1960. She and her family hosted the Rimrock Rally car show, an annual event featuring over 350 1950’s classic and custom autos. Kim enjoyed hosting friends and family at the 26 acre tract of wilderness she and her family developed at the northwest corner of Winchester, now known as Rimrock. Kim loved the outdoors, spending her days riding horses, fishing, and gardening with her Lhasa Apso dogs at her side.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Ron; two daughters Bryn McCoy of Chicago and Misti McCoy Jolin of Angola; two grandchildren Fischer Thomas McCoy Smithey and Anais Francesca McCoy Smithey of Chicago; and three step-children Brian (Lora) Brandon, Kelly (Jason) Laux and Christine (Kenny) Miller.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 11 with additional time for visitation one hour before, at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11. Burial will follow at the Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
