Kenneth Allen Mills

Kenneth (Kenny) Allen Mills, 82, passed away on Friday, February 3 at his residence in Winchester, Indiana. Kenny was born to Leo and Gladys Mills in Muncie, on March 11, 1940.

He attended Royerton High School. Kenny owned his own produce business until he retired in 2002. Many friends were made during the time of his business ownership. He married Marilyn Cole in November of 2004. They enjoyed many happy years together making memories camping, attending karaoke at friends Rod and Malia’s, and traveling until Marilyn passed in 2016.

 Kenny is survived by his daughters, Vicky (Scott) Lawson, Eaton, IN; and Lisa (Dennis) Main, Yorktown; step-daughter; Debbie (Gerald) Galligan, Enterprise, AL; dear friend, Jerry York, Muncie; grandchildren, Travis (Jonann) Corder, Jacob Corder, Jeramiah (Brittany) Lawson, Rachel (John) Seramur, and Amber (Michaela) Main; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Jim (Nancy) Mills; two sisters, Donna Geer and Joyce (Lee) Garringer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Max Mills and Mary Parks; grandson, Clayton Galligan; and great grandsons, Landon Galligan and Bradley Galligan. His caring ways and sense of humor will be missed by many.

A celebration of life in honor of Kenny will be on Friday, February 10 at 2pm with calling one hour before. Pastor Troy Kaufman will officiate. Calling hours for visitation will be Thursday, February 9 from 4-7 pm.

Both services will be at Walker Funeral Home, 248 E. South St., Winchester. The immediate family of Kenny would like to thank his extended family and friends for their care and concern during his illness; and a special thank you to EverHeart Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
