Kenneth “Kenny” G. Leach, 80, of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at his home in Winchester. He was born on January 22, 1942, in Connersville, Indiana to Kenneth and Mary (Duncan) Leach.
Kenny owned and operated Kenny Leach Construction for over 40 years. He also was retired from the Winchester Fire Department after 20 years. He was also a passionate golfer; he had 6 holes-in-one. Kenny also enjoyed IU Basketball, Cincinnati Reds baseball, Indianapolis Colts football. He enjoyed time with his family.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 31 years, Debbie Leach; daughter, Donita Wood; step daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Lahey; Step son, Tony (Linda) Funk; grandchildren Michala Wood, Ashley (Jared) Sears, Camden (Haley) Lahey, Landon (Ashlyn) Lahey, Jacob(Shalyn) Lahey; Myra, Nathan,; great grandchildren Carter, Evelyn, Jaxyn, and Ivey; brothers, Francis (Jane) Leach and Leon (Cris Fine) Leach; and sister, Marie (Terry) Saffell.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Barbara, Carol, and Dorothy.
A service to celebrate Kenny’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Adam Sewell officiating. Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
