Kenneth D. Kelsay, Sr., passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, due to complications from COVID-19. Ken married his life-long love, Sue Kelsay, on July 3, 1962. Ken and Sue had four children, daughter, Lynette Kelsay, sons, Ken (Tandy) Kelsay, Jr., Gary (Deb) Kelsay, and was preceded in death by his son, Edward Kelsay.
Ken loved his grandchildren, Lucas Kelsay, Melissa Price, Dawn (Alex) Solis, Jamie Kelsay, Doug Kelsay, Nikki Kelsay, Breanna Kelsay, Alexa (Ryan) Dolby, Dawson (Miranda) Fields, Garrett Kelsay, and Braedan Kelsay. He was also very proud of his 9 great-grandchildren.
Ken is also survived by his two brothers, Edward (Barbara) Kelsay of Noblesville, Indiana and Fred Kelsay of North Carolina.
Ken was a pillar of strength and an inspiration to all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.
A service to celebrate Ken’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Pastor Greg Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow at the Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m., on Tuesday at the funeral home.
