Kelly Vance, 68, died on February 16, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 15, 1953 to Roy and Donna (Perkins) Vance. He grew up in Union City, Indiana.
Kelly was a factory worker most of his adult life. He worked at Lobdell Emery for 23 years, when they closed. He also worked at F.C.C. in Portland until he retired in November of 2000. Kelly was an avid Colts fan and a lover of all music.
Kelly is preceded in death by his father, Roy Vance, stepmother, Betty Vance, and his mother, Donna (Perkins) Vance; and a brother, Mike (Disco) Vance.
Kelly is survived by his wife of 37 years, Becky Vance; his children, Casey (Dave) Whitcomb, Tyson (Erin) Vance, Ian (Jackie) Vance, and James Vance; stepchildren, Traci (Kent) Kops and Jason (Heather) Searcy; his grandchildren, Kearstin and Bryan Whitcomb, Eli, Jackson, and Oliva Vance, and Shelby, Caleigh, and Avery Vance; and his step grandchildren, Delilah and Keegan Kops, and Sierra and Noah Searcy; and a sister, Regina Hampshire.
Per Kelly’s request, there will be no funeral services or visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
