Kay Wells, 82, of Winchester, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. Kay was born on March 12, 1941, in St. Charles, VA, to James and Cora (McGlone) Miller.
Kay was a homemaker, house cleaner, and waitress for many years and made many beautiful friendships through her life. She loved softball and bowling and made wonderful memories with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Nicholas Wells, great granddaughter, Morgan Seedorf; her brothers, Ray, Archie, and Herbert; and her sisters, Beulah, Willa Mae, Virgie, Berchie, and Bonnie.
She is survived by Carol Lovis, her partner and caregiver; two sons, James Wells and Randy Wells (Darinda); a daughter, Pam (Jeff) Green; her 8 grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Seedorf, Adam Abernathy (Christina Cumberlander), Angi (Brad) Salyer, Elizabeth (Neal) Womack, Tori (Dalton) Ellis, Anna Wells, Brendan (Dana) Laudenbacher, Michaela (Donald) Friend, and Spencer (Hannah) Densmore; and nine great grandchildren.
There will be a private family memorial service at the family’s convenience.
