Kathryn Elizabeth (Stephen) Pegg

Kathryn “Kate” Elizabeth Pegg, 94, of Winchester, Indiana passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 19, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born July 25, 1927 to parents, LeRoy & Elizabeth Stephen, deceased.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wendell Pegg of 58 years & two sons, Jan & Stephen, as well as brothers, Bernard Stephen, and Gerald Stephen, and sister, Norma Harris.

Kate worked in the cafeterias of Union & Driver Middle Schools as well as the Randolph County Jail.  She was a faithful member of Mount Zion Church and had most recently volunteered at the Randolph County St Vincent Hospital.

She is survived by her sons, James “Jim” Pegg of Winchester, Indiana, Jeffery “Jeff” Pegg of Lynn, Indiana and Marc (Tammy) Pegg of Winchester, Indiana.  She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held.  Memorials in Kate’s name can be made to Randolph County 4-H Future Needs, 1885 S US 27, Winchester, IN 47394
