June Maxine (Shreeve) Yost, 96, of Winchester, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 24, 2023 at Summers Pointe, Winchester. June was born on June 14, 1927 in Jackson, Ohio to parents Roy and Lydia (Gaddis) Shreeve. June aka “Juney” and “Junebug” graduated from Wayne Township High School in 1945, retired from Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Office in 1987. As a young woman, June worked at Red 73 Creamery, Union City, and Randolph County School Superintendent of Schools, Paul Beck. June loved hosting parties around the holidays with her extended family. June also loved traveling around the USA. June was a member of Countryside Christian Church, Winchester.

June is survived by: children – Millie Reed, Ron (Danna Rae) Anderson, Bruce (Lori) Anderson. Grandchildren – Mike (Karla) Reed, Denise (Roger) Cox, Aaron (Katy) Anderson, Erica Anderson Stone, Des (Shean) Bosworth, Bryce Anderson, and Clayton Anderson. Great-grandchildren – Drew Reed, Lucas Reed, Gracie Reed, Cody Cox, Garret Cox, Darcy Cox, Glenallen Anderson, Will Anderson, McCormac Anderson, Jorja Anderson, Easton Anderson, Savannah Stone, Isaac Stone, Briella Bosworth, Breaker Bosworth, Caden Anderson, Cali Anderson. Nephews- Dick (Pat) Moore, Jan Moore, Ryan Moore.  Niece- Christie Kidd.

Preceded in death by parents Roy & Lydia Shreeve, siblings-Geraldine Sipe, Mable Greek, Grace Moore, Everette Shreeve, Edna Shreeve, son-in-law Dave Reed, grandson Matthew Spoonemore, great-granddaughter Camryn Anderson, nieces and nephews, Don Greek, Marilyn Greek, Jerry Moore, and Greg Shreeve.

Services will be held at Walker Funeral Home, Winchester on Saturday September 30, 2023: visitation 10am-12, funeral service at 12 noon officiated by Melissa Kleinschmidt, burial to follow at Spartanburg Cemetery.  Special thanks to staff and residents at Summers Pointe and Reid Health Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations accepted in June’s honor to Randolph County 4-H Capital Campaign.
