Julie Ann (Tharp) Wicker

Julie Ann Wicker, age 63, of Winchester, IN passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2022 after an extended illness. Julie was born on Saturday, December 13, 1958 in Winchester to her parents George Tharp and (Madonna) Melrose (Mosier) Tharp who predecease her. Julie’s grandparents were Charles and Ruby Mosier and Alphaeus and Ethel Tharp. She grew up in Parker City, IN and attended schools there. She worked as a CNA at local nursing homes.

Julie had an infectious laugh and enjoyed music. She was a talented singer and artist. She loved to plant and care for flowers and grew roses. Julie loved all animals and they loved her in return. She had many pet companions over the years and leaves behind her dog Millie Mae.

Julie had beautiful red hair and always looked nice. As her health declined she enjoyed talking on the phone and watching old tv shows.  Her spirit never diminished. Her family was very important to her.

On August 7, 1987 Julie married the love of her life, Bob Wicker and he survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Christoper and his family in TX and Noel and his children in IN, her stepchildren and their families. Also left behind are her 2 older siblings, adored brother Jerry, his wife Rita and their family and her beloved sister Jan Simms, her husband Todd and their family. 

Honoring Julie’s wishes there will be no funeral service. She chose cremation.

Julie - you were loved and treasured, we will never forget you. Our lives are forever changed without you here. See you on the other side.
