Julie Ann O'Brien

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julie (Sis) Ann (Monroe) O’Brien of Winchester. She died peacefully on March 22, 2025 at Reid Hospital. Julie was born on May 10, 1964 in Randolph County to Shirley (Medler) Winningham and William Monroe.

We will remember Julie most by her love language; acts of service and giving to friends, family and even strangers in times of need. She was an avid lover of animals, traveling, camping, music and taking care of her two beloved pets Coco and Seferra.

She is survived by her son Joseph O’Brien, grandson Gavin Lambert, sister Billie Winningham, brother Dan Monroe (Connie) and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Julie was greeted in heaven by her parents Shirley Winningham and William Monroe, 3 brothers Ronnie Monroe, Jerry Monroe, Bob Monroe and nephew Cory Toschlog.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
