John K Hobson

John K. Hobson, 65, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, August, 12, 2024 in Winchester.  He was born in Muncie, Indiana on October 23, 1959 to Denny L. Hobson and Lee Ida (Brock) Taylor.

John attended schools at Daleville and Cowan.  He worked in the heating and cooling industry.  John enjoyed flea markets, working on watches, and was a history buff.

John is survived by his wife of 38 years, Candy Hobson; a daughter, Amanda Hobson; a son, Kenneth Hobson; two granddaughters, Ava Hobson and Rainy McLaughlin; a sister, Rachael (Steve) Pluff; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

John was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bradley Hobson and Gregory Hobson; and a sister, Hannah Foust.

          Per John’s wishes, there will be no service.  Donations in John’s name can be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
