John N. Bow, 78, of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his home. He was born on November 19, 1943, in Portland, Indiana, to Fred and Zida (Smith) Bow.
John was a 1962 graduate of Madison High School in Jay County. He served in the US Air Force. John was a mould maker for Anchor Glass Container. He was also a member of the Anchor Sympathy Club. John enjoyed watching game shows, collecting horses, and watching sports. Most of all, John enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
John is survived by his children, Nancy (Eric) Schultz of Winchester, Crystal Dearduff of Tennessee, George (Candace) Bow of Winchester; step children, Rachel Nix of Winchester and Jeff Moore of Richmond; 26 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; and a brother, Paul (Judy) Bow of Muncie.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Ruth (Cash) Bow, who passed away in 2015; his parents; a brother, Curt Bow; a sister, Marilyn Kelly; and a grandson, Joshua Cantrall.
A service to celebrate his life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jericho Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m., on Wednesday at the funeral home.
