Jeraldine Marquess, 78, of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 13, 1944, to Robert and Viola Virginia (Michaels) Bradburn.
Jerry was one of 15 children and raised 7 children of her own with her husband, Stephen Allen Marquess. She enjoyed working on her flowers and playing games with her family and friends. Jerry retired from Anchor Glass after many years of service.
Jerry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband “Steve” and a daughter, Stacy Kathleen Williams.
Jerry is survived by her brothers, Garold, Harold, and Marvin Bradburn; sisters, Linda Sue West and Betty Erwin; children, Shawana (Jerry) Himes, Lisa (Floyd) Geesy, Johnathon, Heather, Jason, and Stephen Marquess; son-in-law, Randy Williams; her grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Himes, Jr., April (AJ) White, Joshua (Jennifer) Geesy, Tracy (Walt) Perry, Kristy Geesy, Jami Prather, Minnie Cline, Trisha (Braydon) Sparks, Kaiti (Cole) Owens, Jennifer Tutterrow, and Heather Williams; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Jerry’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Walker Funeral home in Winchester, with Pastor Jeff Straley officiating. Burial will follow at Reitenour Cemetery in Ridgeville.
Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home. There will be a dessert bar at the Geesy House, following the services.
