Jennifer Lynn (Shoemaker) O'Neal

Jennifer Lynn (Shoemaker) O’Neal, 64, of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at IU Health Saxony Hospital in Fishers, Indiana after an extended illness.  She was born July 29, 1957, in Winchester, to Fay and Pauline (Lane) Shoemaker.

Jennie was a 1975 graduate of Winchester Community High School and was a lifelong resident of Winchester. She retired from the United States Post Office in Muncie.  Jennie enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She also enjoyed listening to music, shopping for antiques, and traveling with her sisters. Jennie was a wonderful mother and also loved spoiling her grandchildren.

Jennie is survived by her two daughters, Wendy Renee (Peter) Luedike of Indianapolis and Stephanie Lynn (Jack) Gallagher of Fishers; four grandchildren, Pierson Kurt Luedike, Logan Ashley Luedike, Jackson Thomas Gallagher and Jillian Faye Gallagher; two sisters, Connie (Max) Jennings and Debbie (Mark) Hollingsworth all of Winchester; a brother, Jeff (Pam) Shoemaker of Union City, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents. 

There will be a private service for Jennie.  Memorials in her name may be made to the ALS Foundation, A.L.S. Association Indiana Chapter, 7202 E 87th St #102, Indianapolis, IN 46256.
