Jeffrey L. Vickery, 68, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at his home in Winchester with his wife by his side.
Jeffrey was born on October 17, 1957, in Huntington, Indiana. He was a 1976 graduate of Carroll High School in Ft. Wayne and went on to attend Olivet Nazarene College. Jeffrey retired from Delaware Dynamics as a tool and die maker after 48 years of service. He was a member of the Winchester First Church of the Nazarene, USBC Bowling Association, and the Winchester Golf Club. Jeffrey also served as a basketball referee for his community and as a coach for his kids. He loved sports and participated in many throughout the years, including basketball, softball, bowling, and his favorite, golf. Most of all he loved holding his grand babies and attending their activities.
Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Robin Vickery; four children, Craig Vickery (wife Amy), Vanessa Graft (husband Steven), Bryan Vickery (wife Jamie), and Steven Vickery; his parents, Donald and Jane Vickery; four brothers, Gary Vickery (wife Bobbi), Greg Vickery (wife Myrna), Michael Vickery (wife Emily), and Robert Vickery (wife Jenni); a sister, Melissa Bareford (husband David); 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate Jeffrey’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Winchester First Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday at the church.
