Jeanne Elaine (Jarrett) Hudson

Jeanne Elaine (Jarrett) Hudson, 80, born December 24, 1940, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Reid Hospital.

She was the daughter of John and Nell (White) Jarrett, who are both deceased.  Jeanne graduated from Winchester High School.  She had previously worked at Anchor Hocking, American Hose, and Bunsold’s Grocery.  She had also been a babysitter for many families through the years.  Jeanne attended Freedom Life Church.

In the past, Jeanne enjoyed playing ladies softball.  She also loved fishing, gardening, flowers, and never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Jeanne is survived by two sons, Chris (Aggie) Hudson of Kentucky, John Hudson of Nevada, and one daughter, Kathy Hollowell (Brian King) of Albany, IN; one sister Judy McKee; one brother, Jim Jarrett; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Jerry, and Joe Jarrett; and one sister Jessie Covington.

Funeral services for Jeanne will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Bullard officiating.  Burial will follow at the Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 p.m., on Sunday, March 21, at the funeral home.
