James L Sterling, age 71, passed away peacefully July 18 2026 at IU Health Hospital in Indianapolis, IN with family by his side.
James was born May 26, 1955 in New Castle, IN to parents Albert and Betty Sterling. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for 13 years. James was employed at the J Tech where he retired.
He is survived by his brother Jeff (Susan) Sterling of Fremont, IN nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Albert L Sterling, Mother Betty L Sterling and 2 brothers Bill J Sterling and Albert J Sterling the III.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday August 29th 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Phi Delta Kappa Club Room in Winchester IN.
