Imogene Hudson, 80, of Winchester, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at her home. She was born on August 29, 1940, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, to Roy and Ethel (Kennamore) Mayfield.
Imogene was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching TV, going to casinos and going to Walmart.
Imogene is survived by her husband, Billy D. Hudson of Winchester; her two sons, Billy (Sahavana) Hudson of Winchester and Timothy (Dorene) Hudson of Muncie; grandchildren, Billy Joe Hudson, Savannaha Hudson, and Katie (Rocky) Phenis; great grandchildren, Leland Ansberry, Kolton Ansberry, Jerry Phenis, Ivory Phenis, and Kane; step great grandchildren, Rocky Phenis and Carolyn Phenis; and siblings, Mary Cole, Lou Marshall, Hoyt (Virginia) Mayfield and Roger Mayfield; a special cousin, Rose Ertle; other cousins, Mike, Betty and Travis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, James Bud Mayfield, Roy Allen Mayfield, and Harold Mayfield.
A service to celebrate Imogene’s life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Pastor Greg Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
