Frances Irene (Smith) Kennedy

Frances Irene Kennedy, 77 of Winchester, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 20, 2024, at Parker City Health and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on October 2, 1947, in Randolph County, Indiana, to John P. Smith and Betty L. (Mitchell) Smith of Winchester.

Frances was a graduate of Union City Community High School Class of 1965.  She was a retiree of Anchor Glass Container, Winchester, where she spent 43 years of dedicated service.  She enjoyed shopping, dining out, and spending time with friends and family. 

Frances was preceded in death by both parents; her brother, Richard A. Smith of Conroy, IN and daughter-in-law, Julie A Kennedy of Winchester.  She is survived by her son, Brian Kennedy; grandsons, Ian and Dylan Kennedy; her brother, Vernon A. Smith, all of Winchester; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Per Frances’ final request, no memorial services will be held at this time.
